Steven Modica has been in the REO real estate business in South Florida for over 25 years. During that time he managed and developed REO divisions for three south Florida real estate companies. His scope of activities has included property management, property valuation, vendor’s administration, client development, rehabilitation supervision, marketing, sales and contract negotiation for the disposition of non-performing assets for many institutions. He started his own company in 1988, which grew to be one of the largest independently owned real estate companies in the Southeastern United States, specializing in REO services, eventually merging with NRT and becoming its National REO Director. Because the REO market has been on a constant upward trend, he started his own company again (Real Estate Home Sales) to help lenders facilitate the disposition of their REO inventory. Specializing in a niche (REO) and not deviating away from what he knows and loves has proven to be beneficial for Steve. He utilizes the latest in technologies to help create a consistent work flow and combines that with staff who have an average of 10 years experience in the REO process.
