Option First Realty - Debra Garcia

Option First Realty is an independent, bilingual, minority-owned, full-service real estate corporation and Owner-Broker Debra Garcia-Mangogna has been marketing and selling REO properties for 21 years, specializing in the management and marketing of Short Sales and REO properties throughout Suffolk and Nassau counties on Long Island.

Option First Realty’s marketing strategy is the staple of its success. Once a list price is established, they immediately hold an open house, which includes text riders, so potential buyers can receive a text or phone call from an agent about that home. Every property, regardless of its condition, gets its own web site, complete with a virtual tour. The goal is to give every property the fullest marketing exposure to ensure the quickest sale possible.

As an approved Freddie Mac Broker since 1993, Debra has serviced over 2,000 properties for Freddie Mac alone. As the volume of REO properties increased, so has their personnel; starting with the property management division that inspects ALL properties weekly and monitors necessary repairs, trash outs, lawn maintenance and property condition. Their BPO department consists of three full-time BPO agents. The Short Sales force has two full-time agents and 12 buyers-agents. Option First Realty team members’ motto is "Where Service is Our First Option."
