In this ever-changing environment, especially with increased security and oversight measures, the firm has unhesitatingly committed its full resources to conform to the new industry requirements.
Two Carolinas, one firm. Since 1985, and with more than 60 lawyers and four offices in North and South Carolina, Rogers Townsend has represented the mortgage industry in all areas of default services and related complex litigation, as the firm has consistently possessed the legal experience and organizational stability that clients expect.
Combining well-thought-out timeline management with a detail-oriented practice has enabled the firm to routinely meet or exceed its obligations to clients. In this ever-changing environment, especially with increased security and oversight measures, the firm has unhesitatingly committed its full resources to conform to the new industry requirements.
Between July and December, 2011, twenty-one clients conducted comprehensive audits at Rogers Townsend in compliance with oversight directives, and Rogers Townsend received favorable results in every audit. The audit topics included legal proficiency, firm capacity, financials, data integrity, technology, and security controls.
Rogers Townsend has always performed routine internal audits on each foreclosure file at two intervals: pre-hearing and pre-sale. The audits are designed to ensure the completeness of the legal process and the accuracy of mortgage debt figures.
The firm has formal, documented security policies, standards, plans, and procedures in place to protect their clients’ data and the privacy of non-public information. Rogers Townsend engages third party security service company professionals to conduct annual tests of its security, business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
Whether clients are large national corporations or small local businesses, associations or individuals, Rogers Townsend has a proven history of innovation representing dozens of mortgage lenders in default services and litigation.
They strive to live up to their longstanding vision: to be recognized as a growth-oriented, innovative law firm with a reputation for consistent excellence in meeting the professional service needs of clients nationwide.
